The location is excellent, just a block from the beach, making it easy to explore. The pool could use more maintenance, though. Enjoyed the evening entertainment at The Deck and the friendly staff were great. The elevator wait times can be quite long during busy hours.

Beautiful views of Diamond Head. The elevators were often crowded, which slowed us down. Enjoyed the live music at The Deck during happy hour. Rooms felt a bit small and the bathroom was cramped.

Located at the quieter end of Waikiki, this hotel offers a convenient blend of tranquility and accessibility. The spacious rooms provide stunning sea and Diamond Head views. The team’s service shines, especially with the complimentary upgrade for our wedding. Cleanliness is impeccable and the pool area is inviting. the room facilities need an update; a poor mattress and faulty shower marred our comfort. The air conditioning struggled, leaving us uncomfortably warm at night. Dining options were hit or miss. it's a great location with fantastic staff. Address the maintenance issues, and it could be exceptional.

Wonderful experience, wonderful stay with incredible views of Diamond Head from the balcony that greeted us every morning and friendly staff who made us feel at home from the very first moment we arrived.
Absolutely nothing.

I fell in love with the breathtaking ocean view from our 17th-floor room! The pool area had the most stunning Diamond Head backdrop—perfect for my sun lounging sessions. Plus, the friendly staff made every moment feel special;
Totally recommend! 🌺🌊

Great pool and friendly staff; slow service at the restaurant during peak hours.

Lovely, friendly staff made for a warm welcome, complete with a complimentary drink and lei upon arrival. The location was ideal, with a fantastic view of Diamond Head from the pool. early check-in wasn’t accommodated, and I wasn’t offered facility access while waiting. Clean rooms but noisy mini-fridges. Breakfast seating was limited, despite many empty tables. A missing roll of dimes was unexpected, and the elevator situation was frustrating—two out of three were down. Dining experiences were mixed, with rude treatment at the restaurant overshadowing my initial excitement. Enjoyed the fitness center and water stations, though!

The staff welcomes you like family and the art gallery in the lobby has some cool local pieces. The Deck serves brunch with a view of Diamond Head which is a total treat.
But I didn't expect to pay for luggage storage after dropping almost a grand on my stay.

The pool area is perfect for both kids and adults, with a fun bar nearby. The staff are friendly and always ready to help.
It wasn’t cheap, but the experience is worth the price.

The hotel offers easy access to beautiful beaches, a stunning view of Diamond Head, and is just a block away from excellent swimming areas and the vibrant Waikiki scene, making it perfect for my weekend strolls and explorations; I particularly loved the proximity to the zoo and the aquarium, both just a short walk away, and there are many fantastic dining options nearby, including a delightful coffee shop in the lobby - although I must say, the air conditioning could be a bit chilly at times.

Great location near the beach and various dining options. The hotel provided beach chairs and boogie boards, making trips to the beach convenient. Amenities such as beach towels and proximity to convenience stores were a plus. The friendly staff gave us a room upgrade with a stunning view.

Loved sipping fancy drinks at Knots Coffee Roasters, felt posh lounging at the Royal Club, and got fit watching the Waikiki Beachboys. Obsessed with local art at Greenroom Gallery and exclusive T-shirt line.
Had a blast waiting for elevators longer than I sunbathed.

The room was super nice with an amazing view of Diamond Head. Loved how clean everything was and the bathroom was spacious, too. It’s just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The gym had great equipment and I enjoyed my workouts. One bummer was the staff—some were a bit rude.

The parking was ridiculous at $50 a night, but at least we found free street parking a bit of a walk away. It was a hassle every time we left. Just not ideal for a relaxing trip!

The room was spacious with high ceilings, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights. Air conditioning worked efficiently, providing a perfect temperature. Though the bathroom felt a bit dated, it remained very clean and stocked with complimentary toiletries. Noise levels were minimal, allowing for quiet moments, but the occasional rooster outside was a bit disruptive. Lacking a coffee pot and microwave was inconvenient, as was the absence of safety bars in the bathroom. The elevators were slow, which could be frustrating during busy hours. A lovely location just a short walk from the beach.

One thing I really appreciated about the room was the spaciousness and cleanliness. The décor was nice, and I enjoyed the quiet facing of the backyard. it was a bit of a downside that there was no water kettle or coffee machine in the room. I also found the balcony not very welcoming to hang out on, which was a bummer. the gym was impressive with its modern machines and weights. I liked that they provided towels and had a water fountain available. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. They even gave us leis as a greeting for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues during my stay as well. The lack of a coffee maker in the room was a bit disappointing, especially since it seems like it's only included in specific room types. parking was quite expensive at $50 per day, and the MaiTai at the Deck Bar was not as great as expected. Despite some hiccups, the location of the hotel was really convenient. It was close to the zoo, beach, and Diamond Head National Park. the slow elevators and dated pool area were a bit of a letdown for me.

i spent 3 weeks at queen kapiolani and found it very convenient to hickam afb, just a short 20-minute drive in the morning. the hotel is a stone's throw from the beach, and the valet team was fantastic. the rooms, while a bit dated and small, were very comfortable. it's not a luxury hotel, but for the price, the great staff and fantastic location make it a completely recommendable choice. the kitchenette was a great addition, and the view of the ocean from our corner room was splendid.
Absolutely nothing! 👌

The staff was friendly, and the facilities were nice, especially the restaurant, bar, and pool area. The hotel is located just a block away from the beach and close to Diamond Head, offering great views. the housekeeping staff were exceptionally nice, adding a pleasant touch to the stay. Eventually, it was corrected, but it left us feeling bad for pointing out the error. The noise from nearby air conditioners and the kitchen exhaust fan was constant and disruptive, making it hard to enjoy the balcony.
Our room did not match the one we booked and confirmed. The front desk staff seemed annoyed when we brought up the mistake.

The hotel offers rad yoga classes and epic surfing lessons, making our trip unforgettable. The on, site team is super cool and takes care of every detail for a lit party or event under the Waikiki stars.
I wish there were more options for late, night fun activities catered to young party, goers like us.

The retro, chic property offered a perfect balance of modern amenities and culturally immersive experiences, making our time in Waikiki truly unforgettable.
My wife says that more kid, friendly food options would enhance family experiences.

I chose Queen Kapiolani for its proximity to Diamond Head State Monument, and the on-site team pleasantly surprised me with their talent in handling everything seamlessly. The unique American Pacific inspired menu and handcrafted cocktails at the hotel were a treat.
Atmosphere and structure initially underwhelming. Minor chaos at Bell Captain's desk and delay in room readiness.
